My client is an leading media agency based in Central London who handle the media planning and buying for the most prestigious and innovative brands in the industry.

The team are looking for an Associate Director to leading an integrated comms team providing comms planning for one of the agencies most prestigious car manufacturers. The successful candidate will be working across 4 core teams across the agency to deliver the most creative and ground-breaking campaigns.

The account is one of the most prestigious brands in the business, who are constantly looking for advanced and transforming campaigns. The brand has been built on innovation, performance and design- and they are pushing the boundaries to constantly be at the forefront of the market.

As Associate Director you will be expected to have a well-rounded cross-media skill set, with a focus on content, digital and TV.

You will also be responsible for leading the day to day media strategy, planning and client service activities across the brand as well as managing a team of two Comms Managers and a Senior Planner.

Key day to day responsibilities include;

  • Develop trusting and solid relationship with client marketing team – be their trusted advisor and partner – we are viewed as strategic partner, which means we are seen as an extension of their Marketing team.
  • Working with clients to develop the brief
  • Uncovering the key insights (with support of Insight Ops)
  • Defining the comms strategy
  • Generating ideas from strategy
  • Presenting strategy to client
  • Managing integration with agency partners
  • Encouraging / developing media innovations
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to sell in strategies, ideas and revenue opportunities
  • Owning and growing the agency/ client relationship
  • Implementing client service disciplines
  • Challenging and inspiring clients
  • New business generation and participation
  • Managing team objectives, career paths and development
  • Identifying and implementing training needs
  • Inspiring the multifunctional team with brilliant briefs
