Our client is an independent, fast growing innovative company. We deliver billions of ad impressions for major brand advertisers throughout the US, Europe and international markets for media groups.
About Business Development
Business development is a key function within the business – it is the job of communicating and selling the wide range of ad serving and tracking solutions Flashtalking offer. It requires a confident, commercially savvy pro-active approach combined with persuasiveness and tenacity. Cold calling and lead generation are part of the role. An awareness and understanding of online ad technology is vital, believability is key – knowing about the full lifecycle of online ad campaigns and the digital media landscape is vital. Excellent written English and communication skills are a must.
You will have 5+ years’ experience in digital media from an ad technology, agency or advertiser background, familiarity and knowledge of 3rd party ad serving platforms is required. This is a role for an excellent communicator to ‘hit the ground running’ quickly picking up the key benefits of the client’s broad product set and being able to bring on new business and grow income. The ideal candidate will have a confident, assured, commercially savvy attitude and have a natural personable style with clients. We are looking for someone with an ability to sell but with great listening skills to spot ‘cross-sell’ opportunities when they come up. An awareness of everything from ad formats, targeting options, media planning and buying through to tracking and data analysis would be ideal.
