Our client is looking for an inspiring, proactive and energising Business Director to work across a number of the brands that sit within what is both our largest and founding client.
Your primary responsibility will be to retain and develop your client business through meeting and anticipating needs, by delivering a service that makes a discernible difference to their business, and building, leading and motivating a team to fantastic work.
You will be expected to develop and manage client relationships at the very highest level, e.g. Marketing Director, Managing Director/CEO, ensuring that those clients love and trust you, the team and the agency.
Reporting directly to the Managing Partner with responsibility for the clients business, you will be responsible for leading a team of planners, from both offline and online disciplines, and specialists from investment through to data analytics. You must be able to direct the planning and client service activities of the team across disciplines, and in a fully integrated way that co-ordinates the activities of our specialist divisions effectively.
You will work closely with them and the relevant Heads of those teams to ensure they are highly motivated, delivering outstanding results and ensuring we are ‘universally recognised as at the very top of our game’ by your clients.
In order to do this they need to drive the quality and control of strategic development and thinking across their client portfolio, drawing on the relevant resources and proprietary tools within the client. It is also imperative that you oversee the successful delivery of optimal value in buying across platforms, working closely with specialist units where necessary across the different media disciplines.
Our Business Directors need to demonstrate and retain a strong external industry profile and be seen as a leader internally. They must be seen to challenge colleagues, other agencies, media owners and clients in a positive and productive way.
You will also have a wider leadership role across the business and beyond, contributing fully to the growth and quality of our business offering, ensuring that the agency continues to thrive; being a destination agency for clients and people; inspiring work of industry leading quality, both now and in the future; and maximising profitability.
