Our clients ambition is to Redefine Media and the way it delivers value to our clients’ business, the Client Director role is instrumental in delivering this ambition.

The Opportunity

At its core, the purpose of the Client Director role is to be a senior client lead who will deliver brilliant thinking that drives forward our clients business by harnessing the collective power of the companies network.

 Client Director Key Responsibilities:

Client servicing

  • Own a top 20 client relationship, immersing self and team in the business. Know the challenges, objectives, external economic environment, competitors and relevant partner agencies
  • Ultimately lead the accounts, to implement our clients business strategy uniting our clients talent to deliver innovative, brilliant client solutions with business value to clients at the heart

Commercial

  • Collaborate with Business Director to translate agency strategy into innovative, executionable  business plans for own clients that deliver business value
  • Partner with Business Director to unite with strategists and specialists to deliver innovative, strategic and commercial products and services that maximise the company and the clients income and value
  • Be an ambassador for our client, connecting across internal and external networks to help deliver the operating model and build the brand reputations of the company.
  • Own, drive and deliver business financial targets for clients

Team

  • Direct reports: Account Director, Account Manager, Account Executives and an Account Assistant
  • Galvanise team to think about media in new ways to deliver business value to all clients and help establish the clients brand ambition
  • Unite with Business Director to create an ambitious collaborative team culture that delivers consistent high performance:
  • Lead and motivate the team to understand and ‘live’ values and behaviours
  • Set clear direction and provide regular feedback on business performance and new industry thinking
  • Set challenging SMART Personal Objective’s , and Career plans –  identify and grow high potentials
  • Encourage continuous learning across whole team making people accountable for their own development
  • Ensure  team know and understand financial targets and take full responsibility for achieving

 Pitching

  • Support Business Director in pitch process:
  • Contribute ideas and thoughts into planning content and overall strategic shape of pitch content
  • Collaborate with strategy team 
  • For smaller pitches – take responsibility for complete pitch plan
  • Present with impact at the client

What you’ll need: 

  • Experience of working within a Media Agency environment or within the Media/Marketing industry
  • Experience of working at a minimum of Senior Account Director level or above
  • Commercial – selling value, negotiation, client relationship mgt skills,
  • Trusted Business Advisor – stakeholder mgt
