•A well known and successful telecommunications brand, this client is a new win for the agency and has aggressive and exciting plans ahead of it. Following the launch of a successful flagship consumer product this year, they’re looking for a Digital Director to join their team and help the clients further their successes in digital.
•The Digital Directors remit is to efficiently and effectively lead the delivery of an exceptional digital media product to a leading Telecommunications client.
•Be instrumental in the development of digital strategy, planning and buying process and work collaboratively with the entire planning team and roster of agencies
•Help guide this client as they further increase their focus on digital media channels to deliver both creativity and direct ROI for their brand across EMEA.
•Engage with both day to day digital and offline clients and interact with senior clients on a regular basis
•Become a leader to multiple local digital teams and grow your thought leadership skills
•Take day to day responsibility for digital media activity (with the support of a digital planner and the Head of Digital)
•Ensure account processes are rigorously adhered to with the greatest attention to detail
•Develop and roll out digital strategy to guide local market planning
•Share well formed and educated opinions to help guide client thinking
•Take responsibility for the clients’ EMEA test and learn programme and make it a global success story
•Oversee the deployment of the clients increasing central budget
•Coordinate with our agencies technical experts to ensure that the client gets the most out of its adserving and on site tagging efforts
•Be the clients key point of contact for the recently acquired search business and clearly demonstrate the value of integration.
•Support the Head of Digital and Account Director in leading the account
•Be client facing and display strong media fundamentals and strategic thinking

Client / Account Handling Skills
•Applicants must have great client handling skills, be very personable and be experienced in dealing with clients of all levels from campaign manager through to marketing director. The job involves a substantial amount of client contact and regular calls and meetings
Organisation and Time Management
•The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and work with all the disciplines within the agency i.e. offline, production, local media teams
•They should also enjoy the challenge of working under pressure whilst remaining flexible and being able to adapt to the changing demands of clients.
Coaching and Development
•Successful candidates will also have experience of managing team members, ensuring they are given clear and actionable development plans to aid their career development.
•The ideal candidate will appreciate the difference that small changes can make to improve processes and client deliverables.
