Our Client

Our client is one of London’s largest & most successful media planning and buying companies.  They also like to think of themselves as one of the most forward thinking and innovative communications agencies – driven to inspire their clients, their people and their partners. The Clients Digital Department is a 70+ strong team with a range of different specialist units: Digital Experience; Media Buying; Performance; Search; Affiliates. In addition, a range of Social Media and Mobile activities are conducted from within the existing planning and strategy teams.

The role:

Our Client is looking for a Digital Planner to work with a team comprising of an Associate Director, Account Managers, Planners and Graduates within the Digital Experience team.

This role is essential in ensuring the on-going delivery of great work and client service from the client team. Your role is to work alongside comms planning teams to ensure all work is delivered in an accurate and timely fashion. You will also collaborate with specialists within the team to ensure all strategies are fully developed through to plans. In addition you will begin to develop collaborative relationships both within and beyond our client in order to gain a better understanding of how a client works and the marketing process.

Key Requirements

  • Knowledge of both the media landscape and of clients business so appropriate recommendations can be made
  • An understanding of how all ATL media channels work and how they integrate
  • The ability to talk about a client’s brand and advertising strategies and campaigns
  • Understanding of how media is bought and our Clients share deals
  • Understanding of all media jargon and terminology
  • Be informed on broad media trends and current issues using both on and offline sources and attend all company, department and internal client status meetings
  • Ability to deliver insightful competitive analysis for clients
  • To work collaboratively with specialists and develop comprehensive PCA’s across all channels which deliver tangible insights
  • To always use your initiative and look for creative ways of doing things
  • Some input into digital and cross-media new business pitches
  • An understanding of social media platforms and opportunities
  • Solid understanding of how to traffic a campaign and be able to advise the client on the best way to track and measure their campaigns
