Our client is a thriving international media network.

Key Accountabilities

As an International Digital Manager, you will report directly into a Business Director and work closely with one exec. The successful candidate will be the primary lead for the digital campaign set-up, weekly optimizations, vendor and program negotiations and briefings.

You should be highly energetic and be able to remain calm under pressure. You should also have strong servicing skills and be able to communicate well with internal teams to get the best response.

Specifically, you will be charged with:

  • Being the expert in digital planning and positioning yourself as the lead Digital point of contact with clients
  • Delivering quality recommendations based on briefs from the client
  • Championing Digital within the team, and ensuring Digital capabilities are built across other team members
  • Liaising with partners, media owners, and creative agencies as necessary to ensure all creative deliverables are obtained for flawless execution and campaign management
  • Carrying out regular and ad hoc tasks specific for your discipline and client as directed by your line manager and team- this entails management of client status, planning and activating campaigns with support of your fellow team mates; reporting and analytics,  media negotiation and content management
  • Learning how the agency functions, where to go for what, who is responsible for what you learn how to operate in the business world and how to work in media.  You make it your business to know everything about your client’s market as well as your own.  You avidly read trade press articles to soak up as much knowledge past and present as possible for use now and in the future.
  • Participating in internal and external meetings regarding current projects, future possibilities – briefs and brainstorms.
  • Being Pro-active.  Taking an active role in helping your team to get their work done better and more quickly; bringing your energy, enthusiasm and ideas.
  • You will become an expert in digital reporting and data management to help support the reporting and analytics manager and will have sound knowledge in campaign trafficking

Skills & Experience

Increasingly, we are receiving requests from Digital  clients across all aspects of Digital:  social, search, mobile, gaming. The ideal candidate should be able to advise clients on their digital activities and demonstrate strong digital knowledge. 

In addition, there are several Digital campaigns per year activated within our team, and the candidate should be comfortable running & implementing digital activations across multiple markets.

The ideal candidate should have 2+years of digital experience or exposure to the digital media marketplace.

They must have experience in planning and activation with a strong willingness to learn. Excellent attention to detail, comfort with numbers and ability to draw conclusions based on campaign performance is a must. Outstanding communication, excellent co-ordination and interpersonal skills must be an inherent part of who you are. This person could come from a media agency/communications agency background or from another marketing discipline, provided they can demonstrate they have the skills and knowledge we require.

We expect the candidate to be proficient in the following:

  • Planning tools
  • High attention to detail, aesthetics and creativity
  • PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Web 2.0:  Dropbox, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Docs, etc
