The role will be to maximise revenue coming into the business from media agencies and clients alike. The National Agency Sales Manager will directly run a team of 3-4 people, consisting of Acct. Managers and/or Acct.  Executives, so the candidate will need to show leadership qualities, be capable of giving clear directional guidelines and be an effective communicator. In addition the NSM will look after 2-3 agencies and, whether turning around tough agencies or giving great service, will be expected to lead from the front. When the Country Manager is absent the National Agency Sales Manager will be the natural “go to” person for the rest of the team.


  • Strong knowledge of and have extensive contacts in Sydney / Melbourne markets calling on major clients. Senior level contacts in both digital and planning teams are a major plus
  • 3-5 years experience managing a media sales team
  • 7+ years of media sales experience, with 4+ years experience in digital media sales, calling on major brand advertisers
  • Superior sales skills including prospecting, presenting, negotiating and closing sales
  • The ability to sell based on value not price and a knack for consultative selling
  • An understanding of the digital media landscape, as well as a solid grasp of technology and the changing digital landscape
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
  • Strong knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis
  • Understanding of audience profiles, online ad targeting, and campaign optimization
  • The National Agency Sales Manager will work with Agency Acct. Mgrs to ensure pipelines and forecasting are accurate
  • It is the National Agency Sales Manager’s responsibility to focus on new business opportunities and, with the Country Manager, lead strategy (and closure) on big / important strategic pitches
  • The National Agency Sales Manager must work closely with the companies client service, sales solutions and project management teams to ensure the best of what they can offer is delivered to clients
