The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Performance Executive to join a dynamic, performance focused team. The Performance Executive is responsible for producing media schedules based on communications briefs, ensuring that there is efficiency and rigour in the process. Working with the Manager across a range of exciting entertainment clients to develop the media plan, the Performance Executive maximises value for clients and ensures activity is optimised.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • With support of a manager, briefing suppliers with thoroughness and consistency to produce plans with the best digital opportunities for the company’s clients
  • Delivering against the agency’s defined digital trading strategies and ensure that further savings a made for clients through excellent negotiation
  • Ensuring the delivery of all campaigns with timely optimisations to deliver against the client objectives
  • Full post analysis of campaigns to report performance, optimisation and value delivery
  • With the Manager compiles and regularly presents buys, reports and post analysis to client
  • Works with the Manager in developing buying strategies, utilising all available research and tools at their fingertips
  • Where relevant attends media briefings from client, Communication team or strategy team
  • Attends all client WIPs ensuring all relevant campaign/market updates is/are communicated
  • Be an expert in digital channels and share expertise with broader department and agency
  • 100% proficiency and accuracy with the financials; budget control, contract management, account queries, loading, MI’s and pro-formas
  • Thoroughly checks all pro-formas and provides to Planning and Buying Manager for sign-off prior to invoicing
  • Ensures that Assistants deliver on all key responsibilities
  • In conjunction with the Managers, assists in the training and development of Assistants

Knowledge & Skills

  • 2 years of experience in media buying/planning
  • Developing media buying/negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyse campaign reports to identify required optimisations
  • Excellent understanding of all implementation and buying systems (BCC, Matrix, Mediawise, Adex)
  • Organised and structured
  • Critical analysis of all Survey/market data ensuring informed buying decisions
  • Demonstrates financial and numerical astuteness
  • Excellent presentation skills beginning to sell buying performance to clients
  • Attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
  • Competent in all Microsoft office software
  • Basic understanding all key mediums and how the marketplace impacts media buys
