 Overview:  Our client is seeking a strategic thinker and hard working individual for the Product Marketing Manager role.  This person will have a multi-faceted job in helping the client continue its growth and strength as global digital advertising partner.  sell. This person will play a crucial role in working with Sales to respond to client RFPs and to develop proactive pitches.

Reporting Lines:                  VP and Managing Director


  • Drive measurable revenue growth through the development of new and revamped products
  • Grow the Product Marketing team in EMEA and expand the Branded Content offering throughout the region
  • Establish a product marketing roadmap and manage to it. Drive towards innovation and a competitive edge with all product marketing developments
  • Use data from our internal and third party tools to guide product development, justify products within sales collateral, and as a driver of campaign optimization
  • Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross functional execution of the plan
  • Create presentations and collateral around our products so that Sales is clear on how to sell it
  • Develop and manage product pricing strategies for existing and new products
  • Become deeply knowledgeable around the businesses of our key and growth clients.  Showcase this knowledge through the products scheduled in the roadmap and proactive pitch ideas
  • Take leadership role in supporting customer requests
  • Represent product capabilities at industry events, trade show, analyst briefings, and strategic prospect engagements
  • Provide best practices in communication with Sales and clients so to guide effective uses of our products
  • Forge strong working relationships with counterparts in other offices so to synchronize product roadmaps and leverage relevant work for local needs

     Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Developing an extensive understanding of our audiences, brands and product portfolio in order to deliver the most effective client campaigns
  • Being proficient in our data tool set (including such products as Adobe AudienceManager, Adobe Omniture, DoubleClick DFP, Kantar, eMarketer, and social media monitoring tools)
  • Coordinate and work closely with Product Marketing, Ad Operations and Sales on all elements of campaign creation, management, and optimization
  • Identify and deliver new audience-based targeting/optimization solutions to drive revenue growth
  • Stay in close contact with our teams in other EMEA markets so to fuel efficient creation of RFP responses and flawless execution of purchased campaigns
  • Internalize feedback from Sales and Editorial (in addition to performance data) to evolve the product portfolio

    Person Specifications:

  • 6-8 years of digital media experience across such media as display, video, mobile and social.  Any background in audience-based RTB media a plus
  • Experience in product marketing or a related field, ideally having undertaken a prior role within the publishing environment, including programs that have supported digital products
  • Showcased effectiveness in working across global cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to deeply understand our audience
  • Excellent data analysis skills; experience with BI/statistical tools a bonus (ex. SAS)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – cEMEAity to communicate complex, large-scale concepts clearly and simply
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and capability to build productive relationships across the business and all levels of management as well as with third parties
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and changing business priorities
  • Strong project management skills, able to implement multiple projects simultaneously within time and budget constraints
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of self-motivation and tenacity and a passion for problem-solving
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Openness to ambiguity
