Key Responsibilities

As Senior Account Executive you will report into the Account Manager, playing an instrumental part in the day to day running of the clients’ businesses. You will provide much of the campaign support for the team including regular competitive updates, market analysis, coordination of management of campaigns, from live to post campaign analysis, and general support across the planning team and working with activation. You will work closely with the team to help with the development of strategy and learn about planning capability that goes into client proposals

Specifically, you will be charged with:

  • Help with the implementation planning across all media
  • Assist with the coordination of planning with activation teams
  • Administration and account management associated with the day to day running of campaigns, including responsibilities for budget laydowns and weekly status
  • Working with wider disciplines to apply insight and develop media plans and content solutions
  • Carrying out regular and ad hoc tasks specific for your discipline and client as directed by your line manager and team.
  • Getting to know clients’ businesses in detail to fully understand how Starcom can meet their needs
  • Developing a full understanding of what different disciplines across the business can provide in terms of expertise and knowledge
  • Prioritising training sessions, and on the job learning and support from your line manager as they develop your knowledge and core skills – so in time – you can take on more responsibility. 
  • Participate in internal and external meetings regarding current projects, future possibilities – briefs and brainstorms.
