Our Client is an independent UK media agency offering media strategy, planning, buying, research and ROI. Their exceptional client service, thinking and delivery is innovative, accountable and produces tangible business results.
We are looking for a planner and buyer with a strong TV and VOD planning and buying background who will be able to work across a number of different campaigns across the portfolio of clients. All work will require tight turnaround times and will need to be delivered within budget and the deadlines provided.
While you will be required to produce highly strategic AV plans you will also be expected to plan commercially, ensuring that all activity is planned and delivered against market-leading pricing.
Alongside this, the successful candidate will have an interest in how technology is rapidly transforming the media landscape. This is at the forefront of what we do as an agency.
The team is made up of five talented AV specialists of varying levels of experience. All members are friendly, sociable, hardworking and dedicated with a strong passion for media, most specifically TV and VOD.
Management will also be a key area of this role, and you will be responsible for managing the day to day workloads of the more junior members of the team. In addition, you will be responsible for their TV planning and buying development.
Our client has built extremely good relationships with its clients over the last twenty years and this role will be very client focused so you will need to have extremely strong client servicing skills. Client contact will take all the usual forms but will also include weekly offsite meetings.
You will be expected to become an invaluable extension of you clients’ marketing team and develop a strong understanding of their business.

The ideal candidate will have a good rounded knowledge of the TV and VOD market with strong planning and buying skills. You will need to be passionate about delivering outstanding work on every campaign and a desire to keep up to date on all developments within the industry.
With the support of the strategy team you will also be required to drive innovation forward with creative, stand-out media solutions as well as identifying, negotiating and leveraging sponsorship opportunities for your clients’ business.
